Luis Martinez
I was born in Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas, Mexico. At the age of 15, I moved to Houston and I attended Northbrook High School, where later on I met my wife Rosy Martinez. We have been married for 25 years and God has blessed us with three amazing daughters; Raquel 24, Rebecca 18, and Roselyn 16. I have worked for 26 years for Proximity Systems in the Tomball area, where I learned the art of carpentry and later on became a manufacturing manager.
Back in 2006 we started attending a Hispanic church, a mission of the Lutheran Church, where I heard the Good News of Salvation by Faith in Jesus Christ for the first time in my life. In 2012 we started volunteering in the ESL classes, and we became members of Trinity that same year.
After years as a volunteer and being involved with the Hispanic community, The Holy Spirit led me to consider the pastoral ministry. In 2016 I started my Theological studies at the Center for Hispanic Studies at Concordia Seminary St. Louis Missouri. I recently graduated in 2021 and I was called to serve as associate pastor for hispanic ministry here at Trinity Klein.
I am passionate about sharing the Gospel of Salvation and letting others know that in Jesus all things are made new when we trust him as our Lord and Savior.

Nací en Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas, México. A la edad de 15 años, me mudé a Houston y asistí a la Escuela Secundaria Northbrook, donde más tarde conocí a mi esposa Rosy Martínez. Hemos estado casados por 25 años y Dios nos ha bendecido con tres hijas maravillosas; Raquel 24, Rebecca 18 y Roselyn 16. He trabajado durante 26 años para Proximity Systems en el área de Tomball, donde aprendí el arte de la carpintería y luego me convertí en gerente de manufactura.
Allá por el 2006 comenzamos a asistir a una iglesia hispana, una misión de la Iglesia Luterana, donde escuché las Buenas Nuevas de Salvación por la Fe en Jesucristo por primera vez en mi vida. En 2012 comenzamos a ser voluntarios en las clases de ESL y ese mismo año nos convertimos en miembros de Trinity.
Después de años como voluntario y de estar involucrado con la comunidad hispana, el Espíritu Santo me llevó a considerar el ministerio pastoral. En 2016 comencé mis estudios teológicos en el Centro de Estudios Hispánicos del Seminario Concordia St. Louis Missouri. Recientemente me gradué en 2021 y fui llamado a servir como pastor asociado para el ministerio hispano aquí en Trinity Klein.
Me apasiona compartir el Evangelio de la Salvación y dejar que los demás sepan que en Jesús todas las cosas se hacen nuevas cuando confiamos en él como nuestro Señor y Salvador.
