Lee Hopf
Born and raised in Warner Robins, GA, I attended Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, AL, where I graduated with a degree in English. In the fall of 2011 I began my studies at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and graduated in May 2016. I am the lower-middle of my parents’ four children (that is, the third of four!). I’ve always enjoyed football (played offensive guard in college) and spent eleven summers in camping ministry.
By the time I was fifteen God was already making it clear that He was preparing and calling me into ministry but as I like to share with folks, I fought it! I went kicking and screaming to the pulpit and still do sometimes! I’m so thankful for the encouragements God gave me through the church (His people!) along the way.
If you want to enjoy a passionate discussion with me, we’ll likely be talking about Chickfila, Harry Potter, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars, or my dog, Spartacus. As great as all of those things are to me; however, what I enjoy most is making known the love of God that we all have and find in Jesus attested to in both history and the Word.
He loves you deeply and I pray your time with God’s people here at Trinity Klein will always include a reminder of just how deep, how wide, and how high that love is for you!
